Innovate at San Diego: A Collaborative Day of Entrepreneurship

On November 24th, UC San Diego came alive as the Innovate event took over Otterson Hall, bringing together a dynamic mix of entrepreneurs and innovators! 🌟 Co-hosted by Janus Innovation Hub, the Rady School of Management, and the Student Entrepreneur Network, this gathering buzzed with excitement as nearly all 140 seats were filled. It was one of the most packed Sunday events on campus! 🎉

The lineup featured a stellar array of speakers. Mehrzad Samadi kicked things off, sharing his incredible journey of selling his startup to NVIDIA—talk about a glow-up! 💥 Then we had Dan Vahdat, the trailblazing CEO of Huma, who was named HealthTech Leader of the Year 2023. His company has been recognized by Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing businesses twice, so you know he had some great insights to share. Kooshiar Azimian, the founder of 310.ai, brought his experience in elevating first-gen founders to the discussion, while Soheil Alavi dropped wisdom on maintaining a Better Mood while hustling. 😊✨

What made this event unforgettable was the sense of community and connection. Entrepreneurs traveled from all over—Arizona, Texas, the Bay Area, and Utah—just to be a part of the action. 🌍 It was all about networking, sharing ideas, and forging new collaborations that can turn into future game-changers. 🤝

A huge thanks to the Student Entrepreneur Network volunteers and our amazing speakers for bringing the energy! 🔥 Innovate at San Diego was a celebration of entrepreneurship that reminded us why we do what we do. Let’s keep pushing those creative boundaries and make our dreams a reality! 🚀💡
